New in 2021, a golfer must now create a Digital Profile in order to access either the GHIN Mobile App or GHIN.com. The creation of a profile allows for a more secure login procedure.
When visiting either the App or GHIN.com, there will be a section notifying players that there are Updated Login Requirements. Click on the red "Create Profile" option to begin:
From there, you must enter 2 of 3 pieces of information to verify yourself:
- GHIN Number
- Last Name
- Email Address
If you DO NOT have an Email Address on file, or have recently changed email addresses, please contact your club, or GAP (handicapping@gapgolf.org) to communicate the change. Until a user creates a profile, only a club or golf association can edit a player's email.
If the information matches what is on your GHIN account, you will receive an email to create your account. It will come from GHINprofile@USGA.org and will have a link to create a password:
Once you create your password, you will be able to login to either the app or GHIN.com with your email address (or GHIN Number) and the password you created.
